CORNWALL COUNTY CHESS ASSOCIATION

Cornwall Grand Prix 2002/03
This competition is run on similar lines to the national Grand Prix. It links a series of mostly rapidplay events held in Cornwall throughout the season.
Each player's score for each event is converted into a percentage which is multiplied as follows. In the case of the Cornwall Rapidplay Championship the multiplier is 3 and for the earlier Open QP it is 2. In all other cases the multiplier is 1. The final score for each player at the end of the season will be the sum of his 5 best scores.

The events included in the competition are: Kerrier Cup (A5) Duchy (B7), Camborne Club (C5),Bodmin (D6), County QP1 (E6), Penwith Club (F6) ,County QP2 (G5). The two County quickplays will counted for double and triple points respectively.
