General
The club meets from 7pm on some Mondays at Carnon Downs Village Hall - the dates are shown in the Calendar. Matches are played on those evenings, and anyone wishing to play chess is welcome too
Juniors
The early evening junior session is no longer running. Please refer to the information about the Camborne club where there is a thriving group of juniors who receive coaching
Fees
Members pay a subscription of £25 for the whole season; this would be reduced for a part-season. Payment per session is payable at £3 per evening. These fees cover the cost of the venue.

Carnon Downs Village Hall is easy to find. It’s in the village: turn off the main A39 Truro to Falmouth road. The main village road is Forth Coth and Tregye Road is a turning off that. The Hall is just at the turning. Our room is the Meeting Room, on the right inside the front door. Facilities are good. There’s a free car park, and a bus stop within 50 metres (route U1 and others).

The trustees of the Cornwall Chess Trust have agreed to offer financial support to clubs for the cost of travelling to away matches. Details of the scheme and the application form can be found here.

All in Carnon Downs Village Hall (CDVH) Meeting Room, though New Hall is the alternative if Meeting Room is not available.
Meetings will include coaching from 1800 to 1915.
